A qualified industrial electric heat‑tracing system relies not only on heating cables themselves, but also on standardized certified accessories for power input, circuit transition, temperature control and mechanical fixing, especially within petrochemical hazardous zones with flammable vapors or dust.
EPI provides full sets of supporting hardware. For power connection segments, FDH‑40‑E explosion‑proof power junction box, FDH‑40‑C power junction box and aluminium‑shell power junction box deliver secure power access for heat‑tracing loops under explosive atmospheres. Intermediate junction boxes and T‑type junction boxes realize convenient circuit branch conversion for complex multi‑branch pipeline layouts. Explosion‑proof terminal junction boxes together with terminal kits equipped with LED indicator lights properly terminate heating‑cable circuits, and real‑time LED status feedback assists field inspection work.
Explosion‑proof temperature controllers serve as core control units. They accurately monitor pipeline surface temperature and switch heating‑cable power to maintain target temperature range, complying with international hazardous‑location electrical standards. For on‑site installation, the brand offers glass‑fiber tapes including GT‑66 and GS‑54, pressure‑sensitive adhesive tapes, aluminium‑foil tapes, silicone sealant and HYB‑GK stainless‑steel fixing clips. These consumables secure cable attachment to pipe surfaces, optimize heat conduction efficiency and resist outdoor ageing. Matched distribution control boxes and PT100 temperature‑sensor components complete whole‑set thermal‑control configuration.
All accessories are designed to coordinate with self‑regulating cables, constant‑wattage cables and MI mineral‑insulated cables. Adopting unified accessory system reduces mismatching risks between different‑brand components, simplifies spare‑parts management for global EPC contractors and plant operators, and helps heat‑tracing projects pass international hazardous‑area safety acceptance.
