Various conventional pipeline insulation methods are difficult to adapt to complex on-site environments. Electric tracing relies on a heat compensation working mode, which can effectively solve anti freezing problems in scenarios such as corrosion, explosion prevention, deep burial, and high cold. By matching the corresponding products and construction plans according to the working conditions, various difficult pipeline insulation needs can be properly handled.
The acid-base and solvent volatilization in the chemical workshop will continue to corrode the outer layer of the pipeline, and ordinary insulation materials will quickly become powdery and ineffective. Paired with a fluoroplastic outer layer of anti-corrosion electric heat tracing tape, it is resistant to various chemical media erosion. The joint position is completely sealed with sealant, and combined with a hydrophobic insulation structure, it will not be damaged by corrosive water vapor infiltration into the circuit. The entire system provides stable heating and prevents the medium from cooling, solidifying, and adhering to the pipe wall. It is also less likely to cause damage to the protective sheath during long-term operation.
The oil and gas and dust plant areas belong to flammable and explosive areas, and traditional heat sources pose a risk of open flames. Conventional power lines are also prone to generating discharge sparks. This type of venue must be equipped with a complete set of explosion-proof heat tracing components. The explosion-proof level of the heat tracing strip, junction box, and temperature control device should be matched with each other, and the sealing filling inside the cavity should be filled and locked tightly. Relying on a closed heating structure without exposed electrical sparks, it not only meets the constant temperature requirements of pipelines, but also complies with the hard production safety regulations of the factory area, making it the mainstream choice for insulation of high-risk pipelines.
Coastal areas have high salt content in the air, and salt spray adheres to the surfaces of wire materials and metal fittings, which can easily cause rust and insulation degradation. Select salt spray resistant specially sheathed cables, with all fixing buckles made of stainless steel material, and insulated outer protective plates sealed to reduce salt spray accumulation and adhesion. Regularly wiping off the salt deposits on the surface of the pipeline can slow down the corrosion rate of components, and even if it is installed outdoors near the sea all year round, it can stably exert its anti freezing effect.
The high-altitude outdoor and deeply buried underground pipelines have a fast heat dissipation rate, and the low temperature environment can easily cause the outer skin of the cable to harden and crack. The heat tracing strip made of low-temperature modified material meets the flexibility and toughness standards at low temperatures, and there will be no cracking during installation bending. Double layer compression resistant sheath is used for buried construction, and fine soft soil layer is used for backfilling, combined with a complete waterproof insulation layer to resist soil moisture and compression pressure. Reasonably plan the power supply circuit for long-distance pipelines in the field, control voltage losses, and maintain uniform and stable temperature throughout the entire pipeline.
Wet pipe trenches and sewage pipelines are exposed to stagnant water for a long time, making it easy for water vapor to enter the internal circuit through joint gaps, causing leakage tripping. During construction, raise the height of the cable layout, install waterproof sealing boxes at all connection points, and fill them with sealant to isolate water vapor. Before each use in winter, use a shaking table to check the insulation value. Only when the value meets the standard can power be transmitted for operation to avoid electrical safety hazards caused by moisture.
The insulation pain points of different special working conditions are different, and electric tracing relies on a diversified product system to adapt to various harsh environments. Accurate selection, standardized construction, and regular inspection and maintenance can efficiently handle various pipeline anti freezing and insulation problems, ensuring smooth and safe transportation of industrial and municipal pipelines throughout the year.
